Black Lab Golf

Black Lab Golf located in Savannah, GA offers a complete line up of USA Milled Putters and other premium golf products. The putters are custom designed, milled, shaped, hand stamped, finished and paint filled in a large variety of options. BLG currently offers eight separate putter models and another two dozen “mod” or spin off designs.

The company was founded by Chip Usher of Usher Golf / ChipAndPutt.com in honor of his trusty Black female Lab and fourth Labrador Retriever spanning back to his childhood. Chip has been involved in the Golf industry since 1976 when as a teenager he built custom forged irons, persimmon woods and did club repair for local customers. Over the next forty years he has built clubs for over 10,000 different customers, 40 private clubs and multiple major champions including players on all the big Professional tours, including PGA, Champions, Web.com, Canadian, Latino American, and LPGA.

BLG was started to offer the customer a very high quality milled putter at a reasonable price point. In addition to providing “one off” putters for individual customers, BLG offers the Engraved Series Putters  for Clubs or Companies that need larger volumes of putters

In 2015 BLG extended the product line up to include Miura custom ground, stamped and finished wedges. The wedge heads are bought directly from Miura Golf in raw, heavy weight form and then are custom milled, shaped, stamped, finished and built in a large variety of designs and lofts
